The Bear has 12 individually-designed guest rooms with cosy, colourful, folk-inspired interiors - exposed beams above bright upholstery, heavyweight curtains, original artwork, luxurious woollen blankets, and crisp white cotton sheets. The building’s original features provide elegant counterpoints to the contemporary luxuries - all rooms have LCD TVs, smart thermostats, tea facilities and Nespresso machines.
Toiletries are by Bamford, a natural, sustainable skincare company; every room is equipped with their award winning Geranium collection inclusive of hand cleanser, body wash, shampoo and conditioner.
Seven rooms are above the inn and five are in the coach house. Choose from a suite, super king or twin beds, and a shower, a bath, or both.
There is wheelchair access to the ground floor of the property, and one accessible bedroom in the coach house.
We have two dog-friendly rooms and are happy to accommodate special requests, so please get in touch if you have any questions.
